12 Metres of Red,
staged in 75 minutes.
A flagship product launch needed a premiere-grade arrival: 12 metres of deep-pile red, a 24-post stanchion line, and a photo zone that would survive Jumeirah's evening breeze.
Camera-ready by a hard arrival time
The PR team had a single hard constraint: the first VIP car arrived at 7:15pm and photographers were briefed for golden hour. The entrance ran outdoors across a paved forecourt — open to the coast wind — and had to read flawlessly in wide shots: deep red, gleaming posts, ropes hung level.
What We DidThe floor, engineered backwards from the deadline
We used premiere-grade deep-pile red at 3 metres wide — wide enough for two arrivals side-by-side without crowding the photo line — on a weather-rated backing, taped at every seam and weighted at the turn. The 24 gold stanchions went down on outdoor-weighted bases, spaced off the carpet edge so photographers had a clean lane, ropes hung to a consistent height checked against the step-and-repeat wall.
Crew arrived at 5:45pm; the client walked the line at 7pm. Photographers got their golden-hour shots, and the whole entrance was struck in 30 minutes once the last car left.
